On October 17, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan awarded the Founder of Starkey Hearing Technologies, President of Starkey Foundation Bill Austin the Medal of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, and the American-Armenian philanthropists Kavukchyan family for great contribution to the health and social fields the Diploma of the RA National Assembly.

Congratulating those awarded the RA NA President Ara Babloyan assured that the words of gratitude are audible for everybody because the program So Armenia may hear being implemented by the philanthropists had been succeeded.

The President of the Parliament has noted that it has already been several years that Arabkir Children’s Charitable Foundation jointly with Starkey Foundation by the efforts of Kavukchyan family living in Los Angeles implements a charitable mission in Armenia, providing 1800 persons included in the socially needy and vulnerable groups with special hearing devices.

Ara Babloyan has expressed conviction that with this program we deal with the beauty of human soul, helping and supporting selfless wish, which exist in the inner world of the Founder President of Starkey Hearing Technologies Foundation Bill Austin and Kavukchyan family.

Thanking the philanthropists for their humanitarian activities the RA NA President has noted that he voices the words of gratitude not only of the program beneficiaries, but also their families and relatives.

Before the awarding ceremony the RA NA President Ara Babloyan visited Karen Demirchyan Sport and Concert Complex, where on October 15-17 the Starkey charitable mission is held. The President of the Parliament took a tour in the foyer, talked to the people with hearing problems and was interested in the program efficiency.
